About The Position

North Idaho College is seeking a compassionate, organized, and student-focused professional to serve as a Student Success Navigator for our Health Professions and Nursing programs. This position plays an important role in helping students navigate the path toward careers in healthcare by providing advising, guidance, and support from initial interest through program completion. The Student Success Navigator works closely with prospective and current students to explain program requirements, support educational planning, coordinate admissions and testing processes, and connect students with resources that promote academic and personal success. This role collaborates with faculty, Student Services staff, and community partners to support student retention, onboarding, progression, and completion within highly competitive healthcare programs. Responsibilities also include maintaining student records and databases, tracking student progress, assisting with reporting and compliance efforts, and supporting orientations, presentations, and outreach activities. We are looking for someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills who enjoys helping students achieve their goals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate professionalism, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to guide students through complex processes with clarity and encouragement. The ideal candidate is comfortable presenting information, working with student data systems, and building positive relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community partners. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Two years of full-time equivalent related experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professionalism, empathy, attention to detail
  • Ability to guide students through complex processes

  • Comfortable working with student data systems
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community partners
