About The Position

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station. The Student Success Coordinator is responsible for managing student retention through providing proactive outreach, reactive support, and comprehensive and exceptional customer service. This position is the critical first line of support for MAC students in the online format. Additionally, they support the student engagement, academic, and operations activities for both formats of the MAC Program. The SSC is assigned a group of enrolled students and is expected to serve as their primary advisor from matriculation to graduation.
