About The Position

Make a Difference Every Day – Become a Student Success Advisor at Lincoln Land Community College! Are you passionate about helping others succeed? LLCC is looking for a Student Success Advisor to support students as they navigate their college journey. In this role, you will build strong, supportive relationships with students, help students develop decision-making skills, and guide them toward achieving their academic goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree OR extensive, relevant work experience OR an appropriate combination of education and experience.
• One year of work experience in education.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population.
• Ability to collaborate with appropriate stakeholders and solve problems.
• Detail orientation, strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and good time management skills.
• Knowledge of basic computer programs and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work until 6pm at least one night a week; evening and weekend hours are common during peak times of the year.
• Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Higher Education, College Student Personnel or related field.
• Experience in a community college setting.
