About The Position

This opportunity is available to students with a graduation date of December 2026 or later. Our student and new graduate programs offer a chance to explore Sun Life from the inside. The Strategy & Transformation Business Partner team supports Canadian Operations by helping connect strategic priorities to disciplined execution. The team partners with leaders across the organization to enable strategic planning, prioritization, and alignment of key initiatives that support business outcomes, improve ways of working, and advance transformation across Canadian Operations.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary co-op program, preferably in Business, Commerce, Operations, Strategy, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Lists, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Ability to organize information, structure data, and translate it into clear insights.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication—comfortable adapting your message for different audiences.
  • Curiosity, continuous improvement mindset, and comfort navigating ambiguity.
  • Interest in strategy, transformation, operations, AI, automation, or process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Improve best practices, standardized tools, and repeatable processes to increase STBP team efficiency and consistency.
  • Support team tools, trackers, and reporting processes, with a focus on Microsoft Lists, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Build structured data and reporting inputs that enable data visualization, insights, and business decision-making.
  • Prepare executive-ready materials, including strategy updates, initiative summaries, meeting materials, and leadership presentations.
  • Support planning, governance, follow-ups, and other ad-hoc projects based on evolving team and project needs.
