About The Position

The College of Medicine Dean’s office is recruiting for a Year 4 Student Services Program Coordinator. This role serves as a key administrative support for various critical aspects of the Year 4 medical student curriculum, including committee support, core rotations, specialized programs, and overall curriculum management. The coordinator will be responsible for organizing, communicating, and maintaining records for multiple courses and programs, ensuring smooth operation and timely completion of student requirements and administrative tasks. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and students.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Coordinator for the Selectives and Electives Committee (SEC), providing comprehensive administrative support, including scheduling, preparing agendas, coordinating logistics, recording minutes, and tracking action items.
  • Assist with the review and processing of new selective and elective course proposals, maintaining accurate records of approved courses.
  • Coordinate core aspects of the required Critical Care rotation, including student orientation, communication, POCUS probe management, RCE log tracking, and administrative support for the course director.
  • Coordinate core aspects of the required Sub-Internship rotation, including student orientation, communication, RCE log tracking, and administrative support for the course director.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the Intern 101 Program, including schedule and curriculum development, logistical coordination, communication, on-site support, evaluation processing, and attendance tracking.
  • Coordinate all administrative aspects of the required Geriatric Medicine course, including communication, administrative support, room reservations, learning management system updates, and assignment tracking.
  • Oversee all aspects of Year 4 orientation, including schedule development, logistical coordination, communication, and evaluation assistance.
  • Manage the distribution of NBME self-assessment vouchers to eligible Year 4 students, maintaining accurate records and communicating voucher information.
  • Serve as the primary College of Medicine liaison for the Simulated Interprofessional Rounding Experience (SIRE), coordinating participation schedules and facilitating communication.
  • Coordinate the Integrated Year 4 courses (Longitudinal Research, Developing Scholarly Skills, Design Your Own courses), overseeing applications, tracking milestones, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Provide administrative support for key aspects of the COM clinical curriculum, including website content updates, pocket card creation and distribution, and support for major curricular events.
  • Assist with curriculum and assessment mapping for coordinated courses.
  • Provide administrative support to the Assistant Dean for Clinical Coordination.
  • Coordinate/assist with additional projects as needed, including coverage of colleagues.
