About The Position
Are you passionate about classical education and supporting the student culture of a growing classical charter school? We are looking for a full-time Student Services Paraprofessional who can support our Student Services Department by providing small-group and individual support to students with identified learning plans. We are looking for someone with high standards of excellence, a professional demeanor, and a can-do attitude to join our team and to help us build for the future. Responsibilities
- Work with individual or small groups of students who are at-risk to provide educational interventions and progress monitoring, including students with IEPs, 504 plans, or ALPs
- Implement small group/individual intervention instruction, progress monitoring, and other activities related to reading support
- Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information
- Attend team/parent meetings as required; provide input to teams regarding student academic strengths and weaknesses
- Maintain data-based documentation of continuous monitoring of student performance and progress during interventions
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as requested by the Dean of Student Services or Headmaster
- Complete all required training and provide documentation as well as official college transcripts within 90 days of hire date
- Demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance by adhering to assigned work hours, reporting on time, and following proper procedures for absences or tardiness to ensure minimal disruption to students, colleagues, and school operations
- Demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English to effectively perform their job responsibilities and communicate in the workplace
- Perform other duties as assigned
