About The Position

Provides overall guidance and oversight of all Student Resource Center operations. Provide lunch breaks and other support to the Testing Center.

Ability to communicate with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
Good communication and computer skills
Ability to suggest improvement in student outcomes
Ability to maintain an atmosphere conducive to a positive learning environment in the Testing Center
Ability to control up to 30 students in an interactive atmosphere

Demonstrates a commitment to equity, excellence and high expectations for all students and a commitment to the academic and personal well-being of each student.
Manages all testing center operations and student management within the center.
Maintains accurate attendance records, collects sign-in sheets, and keeps track of use of the center.
Manages all supplies, books, and testing center equipment.
Interacts with faculty and staff as needed.
Guides students in Internet use, word processing, and use of instructional software.
Assists students with identifying tutors to support their needs.
Assists students with fulfilling study table and detention requirements.
Supports student learning and work completion in a safe, clean, positive and respectful learning environment within the Testing Center.
Provides guidance to students regarding academic and behavioral expectations when using the Testing Center.
