The Research Assistant will assist the PI, Dr. Zed Sehyr, with managing research studies with deaf/hard-of-hearing and hearing adults focusing on neurobiology of language and reading. The student researcher will complete CITI training and assist with human participant recruitment, running behavioral and/or EEG experiments and participate in community engagement and outreach. The researcher will assist with analyses and interpretation of data, writing up methods, preparing materials for conference presentations or publications. The researcher will attend regular lab meetings in person and team meetings online and will be expected to follow lab protocols and documenting procedures. Student RAs are encouraged to participate in student research symposia or conferences or develop and lead independent research projects.
