About The Position

The SRC Student Employee helps create a welcoming, safe, clean, and positive environment for students, community members, vendors, rental groups, and other guests who use our Student Recreation Center (known as the SRC). This position provides opportunities to develop real-world skills in customer service, hospitality, communication, leadership, problem-solving, facility operations, and professionalism while representing Bethel University well.

Requirements

• Must be a current Bethel Student.
• Expectations include being dependable, attentive, and willing to take initiative to help wherever help is needed.
• Ability to work independently during your shift.
• Must be professional and respectful when interacting with guests, staff, faculty, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests.
• Monitor the facility, maintaining clean and organized spaces.
• Manage equipment and facility set-ups.
• Respond politely and professionally to the needs of those using the SRC, showing great hospitality and customer service.
