About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to support the Field Accommodation Recreation Team in Foster Creek through managing and enhancing recreational projects and processes on site. Foster Creek Fly-in/Fly-out and busing arrangements are available for this position, making it accessible to individuals outside the local area. Foster Creek has full-service camp facilities (private room/bathroom, extensive recreational facilities/dietary offerings). Air transportation to/from site is offered from designated departure points in select locations. Foster Creek is serviced by flight Hubs in Calgary and Edmonton.
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa)
- Available to begin work in July 2026
- Able to effectively manage fluctuating workloads and set priorities to meet deadlines.
- Work independently and/or function in a team environment, concentrating on team goals and objectives.
- Ability to, motivate, coach, and teach others.
- Strong communication, organizational, time-management and decision-making skills
- Have good working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office
- Must be enrolled in a Project Management, Business Management, Hospitality Management, or Health Sciences Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term
- Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered
- New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
- A valid Canadian class 5 Driver's License with no restrictions (i.e., non GDL) is a requirement for this role
Responsibilities
- Create new and support existing projects/processes within the Cenovus Recreational Department
- Perform quality assurance and quality control
- Conduct inventory control and document management
- Organize recreational events, liaison with volunteer groups, and directly work with contractors
