About The Position

Under the direction of the College Registrar, this position provides administrative support for the office. The educational outcomes for this role include understanding how the Registrar’s Office functions and supports the teaching and learning of a college, learning and using technology that supports the Registrar’s Office, and developing skills in collaboration and customer service. All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements, and professional standards.

  • Must work well in a team environment and exercise sound problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn and use databases, Excel sheets, and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to promote an inclusive environment that reflects the broad diversity and backgrounds represented by our students and employees and in which every individual feels respected and valued.

Responsibilities

  • Check the office mail and distribute mail to the campuses and to the student hub.
  • Image and scan student records.
  • Monitors the office inbox and communicates information.
  • Assists with data entry for processing transcripts.
  • Assists the office in troubleshooting system issues.
  • Other duties logically associated with this position may be assigned.
