About The Position

BJC HealthCare System is now hiring a Part-Time / PRN Student Radiology Technologist for Center for Advanced Medicine located at Barnes-Jewish Hospital (BJH) – North. This role is for individuals currently studying radiology who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a leading academic medical center. The position offers a PRN Day Schedule (work as needed) with options for Day, Evening, and Night Shifts, allowing flexibility to work around school hours. A minimum of two four-hour shifts per month is required, with opportunities to work more, especially during Spring/Summer break. This is an outpatient role within the Radiologic / Radiology Technologist field.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or higher level of education
• Currently enrolled in a Radiology School Program
• No prior experience necessary —training provided!

Responsibilities

• Assists the technologist with imaging procedures. Students require direct supervision in surgery.
• Escorts or transports patients to and from examination area, assists technologist with patient transfers to and from imaging tables, and assists patient as needed.
• Assists outpatients with completing information necessary to the procedure.
