About The Position

Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital is a major academic and referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations. It has 43 residency and fellowship programs with 454 residents and fellows and is the exclusive clinical partner of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a registered radiographer, maintaining patient care and safety, and ensuring equipment and supplies are available. The technologist will coordinate and perform routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, and trauma and surgery procedures according to established standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 1 year of relevant experience
• must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program

Nice To Haves

• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, performs diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures.
• Assures equipment/supplies are present and accounted for at beginning and end of each imaging procedure.
• Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma and surgery procedures according to established standards and practices.
