About The Position
This role involves assisting with various aspects of live broadcast production and event management. The Student Production Assistant will operate video boards, cameras, and streaming equipment, support media relations, and help manage event logistics and technical aspects.
Requirements
- Ability to set up and operate video boards, cameras, and streaming equipment
- Skills in live broadcast production and scoreboard operations
- Experience supporting media relations staff
- Knowledge of credentialing, access control, and sponsor activations
- Understanding of NIL signage and institutional guidelines
- Capability to coordinate pregame and postgame logistics
- Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues
- Experience maintaining inventory and handling production equipment
- Ability to assist with crowd flow, emergency protocols, and staff communications
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate video boards, cameras, and streaming equipment
- Assist with live broadcast production and scoreboard operations
- Support media relations staff with interviews, press conferences, and content capture
- Help manage credentialing, access control, and sponsor activations
- Monitor NIL signage and ensure compliance with institutional guidelines
- Coordinate pregame and postgame logistics (team arrivals, press areas, field setup)
- Troubleshoot technical issues during events
- Maintain inventory and ensure safe handling of production equipment
- Assist with crowd flow, emergency protocols, and staff communications
