The location in Montreal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Student, Procurement. This job is full-time temporary. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic student to support our procurement team with various sourcing initiatives. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of procurement while developing key skills in analysis, negotiation, and supplier management.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong interest in procurement and supply chain management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and methodical
- Strong communication skills and a team player
Nice To Haves
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
Responsibilities
- Assist buyers in the supplier selection and evaluation process
- Collaborate with plant teams to gather necessary information
- Support in cost analysis and supplier offer evaluations
- Contribute to the improvement of procurement processes
- Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities
