About The Position

The Student Photographer is responsible for providing photos of events or general student life at North Central College. Applicant must have flexible hours and be “on call” within specific time frame/dates for events needed. This position will not have a set number of hours weekly, but based on needs. Photos will be used for marketing publications and social media.

Requirements

• Must have experience with digital photography.
• Bring personal equipment to be used to shoot events.
• Must be punctual and arrive to events or scheduled shoots on time
• Possess intermediate to advanced knowledge of Photoshop or Light Room.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Attendance to events that are scheduled with the Director of Creative Services and student photographer
• Provide color corrected digital files after the event based on deadlines provided by the Director of Creative Services
• Have a cooperative attitude and willingness to take art direction
• Remain professional at events/on campus while taking photos
