About The Position

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at the Faculty of Arts is seeking a Student Part-Time Professor to teach Elementary Spanish I (ESP1991 Section E) during the Fall 2026 semester. This course focuses on the essentials of Spanish grammar, pronunciation, and conversation, with both oral and written exercises. The position is limited to students who meet specific academic and enrollment criteria.

Requirements

• Proficiency and experience in teaching Spanish ELE: A1/A2 grammar, culture and literature of Hispanic countries, composition, and Didactics of ELE.
• Expertise in Blackboard + and other communication technologies.
• Class management and administrative tasks.
• Ability to work in teams.
• Hold an M.A. in Spanish.
• Be registered full-time in a Doctorate Program.
• Native or near-native speaker (C1) of Spanish.
• Bilingual (French and English).

• An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
