About The Position
The University of Ottawa's Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Nursing is seeking a Student Part-Time Professor for the course NSG 3527, "Professionnalisme et éthique en soins DGD". This course examines the scope and standards of nursing practice, with a comprehensive review of ethics, legal situations, and practice dilemmas. Emphasis is placed on values clarification, professional socialization and image, and interprofessional practice. The academic period for this position is the Fall 2026 semester.
Requirements
- M.Sc.N. (Master of Science in Nursing).
- University-level teaching experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of the professional and ethical foundations of the course.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Equivalent level of education and/or experience may be considered.
Nice To Haves
- Competence in a second language (French/English).
