About The Position
The Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Student Part-Time Professor to teach Fixed Income Investments (ADM3351M) during the Winter 2027 academic period. This is a regular, full-time position with instruction in English, delivered in person. The course covers markets for debt instruments, term structure of interest rates, bond valuation, duration analysis, bond portfolio management and immunization, and fixed income derivatives. The expected enrollment is 75 students, and the course is worth 3 credits.
Requirements
- Master's or MBA degree (PhD in Finance preferred) or a professional designation.
- Extensive knowledge of fixed income investments.
- Demonstrate recent professional experience in the area of the course.
- Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
- Must be a PhD candidate in the area of fixed income investments (prioritized).
Nice To Haves
- PhD in Finance preferred.
- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
