About The Position

Ledcor Highways is seeking safety-oriented individuals to join their highway maintenance team. This entry-level opportunity offers a unique, fully funded training program to upgrade a G class driver's license to a DZ license, enabling participation in winter and summer highway operations. The training includes paid instruction to become a competent snowplow operator, with potential for full-time or seasonal employment. Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• Possess a minimum Class 5 License without restrictions
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Able to pass an MTO medical exam and vision screening exam
• Safety-oriented with a commitment to quality
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50lbs, stand
• Commit to a minimum employment term.

Responsibilities

• Support winter and summer operations across the province.
• Operate snowplows safely and competently.
• Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50lbs and standing.
• Work in various weather patterns.
• Be available for shift work, on-call duties, and night shifts.
