About The Position

Assists the unit with providing safe, competent basic nursing care for patients in accordance with approved competencies, facility policies/practices, standards, philosophy under the direction of an RN. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Provides support to the healthcare team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills. Proven work history of excellent customer service skills required. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Completed the first semester at an accredited Nursing school (ASN or BSN program).
• Current American Heart Association BLS required at time of hire.
• Concurrent enrollment in a RN Nursing program or a graduate waiting initial NCLEX.
• Recommendation from a School of Nursing Instructor.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior CNA experience preferred.
