A Brief Overview Responsible for assisting licensed nursing staff to provide quality nursing care for an assigned number of patients while learning the role of the Registered Nurse. Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college program Nursing
- BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - American Heart Association
- Ability to verbally communicate in an effective and positive manner with child/family, public, and all other health care workers.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities
- Assists and/or provides patient with personal care, activities of daily living and other basic needs under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- Observes and reports patient conditions/behaviors to the Registered Nurse.
- Assists with patient and family education.
- Assists with patient discharge planning at time of patient’s admission and continuing through patient’s dismissal.
