About The Position

The Student Nurse Intern, Float Pool- PRN position is for individuals enrolled in an accredited RN program who have no more than two semesters remaining until program completion. This role is part of the Float Pool and requires adherence to a Culture of Excellence, demonstrating behaviors in Quality, Service, Partnering, and Cost. The intern will gain experience across various units within the integrated health system, which serves northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin through seven hospitals and 85 clinics.

Requirements

  • Graduate of High School or GED
  • Enrolled in an accredited, or accredited eligible, RN program
  • In academic good standing
  • Have no more than 2 semesters to complete until program completion
  • Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days
  • Basic computer skills are beneficial

Nice To Haves

  • Other certifications per unit requirements: ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP
