About The Position
The Student Nurse Extern performs specific responsibilities under the direction and supervision of a BSN prepared nurse. Functions within the framework of the NAII listing granted by the NC Board of Nursing. Practices within the philosophy and goals of patient care services.
Requirements
- High School or higher plus 1-2 years of formal training/education is required.
- NA I and NAI II certification is required prior to the program start date.
- AHA BLS is required.
- Successful completion of the first year in an accredited nursing school is required.
- Recommendation by a clinical faculty member
