Under the direction of the school administration, this position will supervise and monitor student behavior throughout the school day during lunch, recess, study hall, between periods, during school events and in classrooms when acting as a substitute teacher. While acting as a substitute teacher, this individual will be responsible for taking attendance, explaining assignments, and maintaining a clean and orderly classroom. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility in a satisfactory manner while possessing a keen understanding of the needs of students as well as an appreciation for their common struggles and issues. Therefore, commitment to the school and its mission is essential. This is a 9 month position and the hourly rate will start at $19.81 per hour.
