The Front Desk Monitor at Independence House is responsible for overseeing the building's entry and exit, managing communication, and ensuring resident safety. This role involves monitoring residents and guests, taking phone messages, distributing mail, and acting as the first point of contact during emergencies. The position requires conducting building rounds, maintaining logs of incidents and observations, and documenting client medication self-administration. The Front Desk Monitor also reports resident incidents to on-call staff, assists with the client cooperative meal plan, and attends required training. Flexibility is needed to provide coverage at other ACMH residential locations as assigned. A calm, respectful, and professional demeanor is essential when interacting with residents, staff, and visitors. Additional duties may be assigned by a supervisor.
