About The Position

The Student Ministry Program Coordinator will collaborate with the Co-Directors of Student Ministries to lead a growing youth ministry that creates a Safe Space where students learn to Love God, Love Others, and Love Ourselves. This role offers opportunities for leadership, spiritual, and ministry development, with the hope of shaping the position to align with an individual's vision for serving God throughout their life. The program aims to equip students with a foundational faith that lasts, fostering a safe community of friends.

Requirements

Passionate about Middle and High School students and excited to develop as a leader.
Growing relationship with Jesus.
Teachable, flexible, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
At least 2 years of college completed or age equivalent.

Responsibilities

Help plan, organize, and execute weekly Student Ministry Midweek Program for Middle School.
Help plan, organize, and execute weekly Student Ministry Special Events.
Occasionally teach during a Sunday or Midweek Program (2-4 Times).
Plan and implement weekly projects to contribute to programming including: teaching, game preparation, communication and leadership training.
Regular contact work with students (one-on-ones, small groups, meals, recreation, via phone).
Regular office hours M-Th, including a weekly Student Ministry Team Meeting.
Opportunities to participate in and help with church-wide services and events (Trunk or Treat).
Opportunities for Leadership, Spiritual, and Ministry Development through meeting with WCPC staff.
Understand and abide by our Child Protection Policy (note: this position is a Mandatory Reporter).
Other duties as assigned.
