About The Position

Provide personalized guidance to students and/or parents on student loan options, ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional client service throughout the loan process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in financial services, banking, or loan processing
• Understanding of loan products and financial regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Conduct phone calls and in-person meetings with student loan clients to analyze their student loan debt and present options to save money by refinancing their loans or entering loans into federal loan repayment and forgiveness plans
• Evaluate creditworthiness and eligibility for student loans.
• Explain federal and private loan options, interest rates, repayment plans, and deferment options.
• Assist clients in completing loan applications and gathering documentation.
• Ensure all loan agreements comply with federal and state regulations.
• Resolve client concerns and maintain communication throughout the loan process.
• Maintain accurate records of applications, interactions, and repayment schedules.
• Provide financial literacy education related to student loans and repayment strategies.

Benefits

• Base hourly rate in the range of $23.08 - $34.62 per hour.
• Incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
