The SEED School of Washington, D.C. is seeking a Student Life Program Manager (SLPM) to oversee the effective operation of the student life program during after-school and evening hours. The SLPM will ensure a safe, secure, and positive residential environment that supports student well-being, personal growth and development, and academic success. This role requires campus residency. The SEED Foundation was established in 1997 to create college-preparatory urban boarding schools. The SEED School of Washington, D.C., opened in 1998, is the nation's first urban public college preparatory boarding school, serving 325 students in grades 6-12. All students live on campus from Sunday evening through Friday afternoon, with dormitories organized into small houses supervised by life skills counselors. SEED is a pioneering national network of public, college-preparatory boarding schools offering a unique 24-hour, 5-day per week learning environment for traditionally underserved students, with schools in Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Miami, and Los Angeles. The Foundation's College Transition & Success (CTS) team supports SEED graduates through college.
