About The Position

Carolina Horizons Student Leader: The student will lead Carolina Horizons participants, who are rising high school juniors and seniors, during their 4-day stay on campus. Carolina Horizons is a residential summer camp organized by the UNC American Indian Center. Its purpose is to educate high school students about the college application process. The student leader will be responsible for escorting high schoolers to and from workshops, meals, and their dormitories. They will also serve as the primary point of contact and supervisor during the evenings when the Program Director is unavailable.

Requirements

  • Must be a student.
  • Must be able to lead participants.
  • Must be able to escort participants to various locations.
  • Must be available for evening supervision.
