Student (Labor) Setup Tech - Events Management

About The Position
This is a regular student labor position in which the student will assist staff or faculty with supporting the University Center Events Management team. This position requires heavy, physical and/or manual labor. Hours per Week: Up to 25 hours per week, maximum, during fall and spring semesters. College/Department: Events Management, University Center.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled at least half-time during fall/spring semesters (5 hours for graduates, 6 hours for undergraduates).
- International students must be enrolled full-time during fall/spring semesters (9 credit hours for graduates, 12 credit hours for undergraduates).
- Must be enrolled in at least 3 credit hours during the summer semester, or enrolled in fall classes if not taking summer classes.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Sensitivity of intercultural communication.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Dependable.
- Punctual.
Responsibilities
- Setting up, picking up, and checking-in events related items for classes.
- Setting up events equipment.
- Wiping down furniture.
- Vacuuming.
