About The Position

This is an entry-level lab technician position focused on providing essential support within a biology lab environment. The role involves a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the lab, including autoclaving, washing glassware, labeling plates, receiving packages, and performing general lab maintenance. The position requires the ability to lift up to 20 lbs. with or without accommodation.

Requirements

Biology lab experience of at least 6 months
Coursework in biology
Demonstrated ability to follow instructions
Excellent and effective communication skills
Biology lab experience of at least 1 year
Must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours during the semester term of the appointment.
For summer periods, must have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or be enrolled in summer session or be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester.
Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. with or without accommodation.
