About The Position

This position involves assisting with various laboratory tasks, including lab management, patient sample handling, and experimental procedures under supervision. The role requires maintaining inventory, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing a database, and performing experimental techniques such as sample preparation, cell culture, DNA/RNA preparation, immunofluorescence staining, Western blots, and PCR.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with lab management – ordering supplies, tracking inventory, maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Assisting with patient sample collection and tracking, including maintaining a RedCap database with patient data.
• Assisting with experiments under the supervision and direction of lab members, including sample preparation, cell culture, DNA prep, immunofluorescence staining, data collection and recording RNA prep, Western blots and PCR.
• Other job related duties as assigned.
