About The Position

We are seeking a Student Intern to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies. This role provides hands-on experience in application development, workflow automation, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, and low-code solution design. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to develop solutions that improve efficiency, automate processes, and enhance business decision-making. Requirements

Currently enrolled in an accredited Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related degree program
Completion of at least one academic term prior to the start of the work term in May 2027
Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term
Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the work term
Basic understanding of data concepts, business processes, or application development
Familiarity with Microsoft tools such as Excel, SharePoint, and Teams

Nice To Haves

Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
Interest in or exposure to artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts, including AI Builder, Copilot, or data modeling
Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, JavaScript, Python, or other scripting languages
Experience with data visualization, reporting, or business intelligence tools
Understanding of low-code or no-code development principles
Demonstrate a safety mindset, in a professional and personal setting
Exhibit the TC Energy corporate values and incorporate them into work activities and initiatives
Strong interpersonal and communicative skills to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment
Commitment to building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

Assist in designing and developing solutions using Power Apps, including canvas and model-driven applications
Support workflow automation initiatives using Power Automate to streamline business processes
Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI
Explore and support the use of Power Platform Copilot, AI Builder, and other AI capabilities to enhance business solutions
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Participate in testing, debugging, and enhancement activities for existing Power Platform solutions
Document business processes, applications, technical designs, and solution requirements
Identify opportunities for automation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
