About The Position

This is a part-time Student Intern position within the 35809 Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital - Med Surg: IU 2nd Floor department. The role involves varied hours on the Acute Care unit, with a pay range of $15.00 - $22.50. The intern will perform duties including patient and family visits, delivery of support services, studies, investigations, research projects, and other assignments. Responsibilities also include providing administrative coverage such as answering phones and maintaining computer data, typing documents, creating spreadsheets and presentations, assisting with research projects, data analysis, and report creation, and data entry and filing. The intern will communicate verbally and in writing with all levels within the System and with the public.

Requirements

GED or equivalent, Undergraduate, Master's or Postgraduate enrollment required.
Excellent planning, prioritizing, oral/written communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and team skills required.
Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and ability to respond creatively to a rapidly changing environment required.
Computer skills required.

Responsibilities
