Student Intern
About The Position
This is a part-time Student Intern position within the 85160 Greater Charlotte Research and Other Sponsored Programs - Academic for Center of Health System Sciences. The internship is for 10 weeks, with up to 20 hours per week. The intern will perform duties including patient and family visits, delivery of support services, studies, investigations, research projects, and other assignments. Responsibilities also include providing administrative coverage of the office, such as answering phones and maintaining computer data, typing documents, creating spreadsheets and presentations, assisting with research projects, data analysis, and/or creating various reports, and entering data and filing. The role requires verbal and written communication with all levels within the System and with the public.
Requirements
- GED or equivalent, Undergraduate, Master's or Postgraduate enrollment required.
- Excellent planning, prioritizing, oral/written communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and team skills required.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and ability to respond creatively to a rapidly changing environment required.
- Computer skills required.
