About The Position

The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas is seeking an intern to assist with event planning for its International Symposium on Online Journalism (ISOJ). The intern will support logistics for the 2026 ISOJ conference, which brings together journalists, media executives, and scholars for discussions on online journalism. This is a paid position requiring 10 hours per week, to be worked on the UT Main Campus in the Moody College of Communication.

• Available to work M-F between 8am-4pm in office at the Moody College of Communication

Responsibilities

• Assisting with booking flights and hotel accommodations for panelists and speakers
• Communicating information about flight and hotel itineraries
• Ensuring all panelists and speakers arrangements are accounted for in a spreadsheet, including dates, times, and cost
• Other tasks as needed
