About The Position
This position will work at the Entergy AMI Engineering Lab where the candidate will have hands-on experience to learn how to test smart devices and learn about the software to analyze the data. During this time, the candidate will work on project planning, engineering design, and review test results and root cause analysis investigations while maintaining safe work practices at all times. Further, there will be coding, automation, and quality control related tasks for the candidate to explore and add value to the lab.
Requirements
- Preferable education background related to Electrical engineering, Computer science, Computer engineering, IT Degree
- GPA 2.8 or above
- Preferable to have computer programming and IT networking skillsets
- Hands-on experience working with testing equipment
- Good interpersonal skills along with strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to apply engineering principles and willing to learn new things
- Possess the ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Acceptance of a diverse and inclusive work environment
- Authorization to work in the United States is a precondition to employment in this position.
