About The Position

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Student Intern for our Transportation Construction Services Department out of our Salt Lake City, UT office. This individual will work with senior engineers and inspectors on a comprehensive range of construction management projects. Experience will be gained on wide range of projects from local agency projects to major interstate projects.

Requirements

Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program with the ability to obtain Engineering-In-Training status; Construction Management emphasis is preferred
Must be at least a college sophomore
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Driving record in good standing
Able to work in a team environment
Displays eagerness to learn new tasks and ask questions as needed
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated organization and time management abilities

Responsibilities

Assist with oversight of various infrastructure projects in the construction phase.
Learn quality metrics, testing requirements, and construction inspection duties.
Make field work calculations and daily reports in a format that can easily be checked by others.
Coordinate work activities with other staff members assigned to a project.
