About The Position

Working in a team environment to assist engineers in day-to-day activities, including, but not limited to: performing designs (based on project scoping and site visits), utilizing design software to model surveyed field configurations, preparing operational IFC design packages, validating estimate prices and equipment units, managing projects that are in construction, assisting construction with completion of as-built documentation, participating in weekly project coordination calls, working on special projects to assist in improving grid reliability and resiliency, supporting business analytic processes through data mining and reporting, as well as performing a wide variety of detailed engineering analysis in distribution-related areas such as planning, economic analysis, maintenance, design, project management and construction, and operations. Travel may be required for the position.

Requirements

Seeking Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil engineering majors
Must be actively pursuing a bachelors, masters or doctorate degree
At minimum, classified as a sophomore or beyond
Minimum 2.8 GPA
Excellent communication and time management skills
Great interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of personal computer operations and software
Able to manage multiple activities and changing priorities
Authorization to work in the United States is a precondition to employment in this position. Entergy will not sponsor candidates for work visas for this position.

Junior or Senior candidates with graduation dates of December 2027 and beyond are preferred.
