The California Education Learning Lab (Learning Lab) is a state-funded grantmaking program charged with improving learning outcomes and closing equity gaps across California’s public higher education. Learning Lab supports innovation in higher education pedagogy through intersegmental grants to California’s public colleges and universities. Funded projects leverage technology tools and the science of human learning to create better online and hybrid learning environments and empower faculty in their teaching mission to find solutions that work best for California’s diverse student population. The Student Intern is a part-time, paid position that will support a dynamic team to help develop education-focused communications, such as promotional materials and social media content, that is mission- and brand-aligned, and to handle general administrative tasks. Depending on the interests and skills of the successful candidate, this position may provide opportunities for unique writing, media research, website, and/or AI/technology-related projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a student who is looking for hands-on experience working in a professional environment, with exposure to communications and education-related projects within a publicly-funded grantmaking program.
