About The Position

This position is designed for a current Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) student enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program. Candidates must hold an active Indiana Pharmacy Intern license to be considered for this specialized role.

Provides comprehensive non-judgmental functions related to medication management. Assists with all functions related to the practice of Pharmacy and clerical duties. Provides lawful, compassionate, efficient, safe, and cost effective use of medications. Collaborates with and supports all customers.

Requirements

• Be a current Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) student enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program.
• Hold an active Indiana Pharmacy Intern license to be considered for this specialized role.
• Hold a current Pharmacy Technician training permit or pharmacy intern license in good standing with the Indiana State Board of Pharmacy.
• Have knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws.
• Have knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology.
• Have knowledge of procedures for operating automated dispensing machines.

Nice To Haves

• Indiana Pharmacy Technician license preferred.
• One year of hospital experience preferred.
