About The Position

This position is for a Student III in Ophthalmology. The responsibilities will vary depending on the specific department within Cincinnati Children's providing the placement opportunity. The role is designed to help students learn the daily routines of healthcare/research investigators, foster career interests in healthcare/research, and gain experience and awareness of the academic, technical, and personal skills required in these professions. Students will develop an understanding of different health/research careers, including their unique cultures and work environments, and the critical connections between education, work, and goal attainment. The position requires compliance with policies protecting patient rights for informed consent and handling of confidential information, completion of required training, adherence to safe work practices, and understanding and modeling Core Standards.
