About The Position

This is a temporary, part-time (0.5 FTE, 20 hours/week) day shift position for a Student II - Mass Spectrometry. The responsibilities will vary depending on the Cincinnati Children's department providing the placement opportunity. The role aims to help students learn the daily routines of healthcare/research investigators, foster career interests in healthcare/research, gain experience and awareness of the academic, technical, and personal skills required in healthcare/research professions, and understand different health/research careers, including their unique cultures and work environments. The student will also develop an understanding of the critical connections between education, work, and goal attainment. The position requires compliance with policies and procedures protecting patient rights for informed consent and the handling of confidential information, completion of required training, adherence to safe work practices, and understanding and adherence to Core Standards.

  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree granting college program

Responsibilities

  • Complete Cincinnati Children's training required for the position.
