About The Position
S:/HA<KS 2026 is Scotiabank and Tangerine's annual student hackathon, taking place on August 21-22, 2026. This event brings together bright minds for a weekend of coding, collaboration, and creative problem-solving, focusing on real-world challenges at the intersection of technology and finance. Participants will have the opportunity to tackle a challenge designed by financial industry professionals, collaborate with peers and mentors, compete for prizes, gain exposure to career opportunities, and acquire hands-on innovation experience.
Requirements
- Current post-secondary students enrolled in a college or university who will be graduating in 2028, 2029, and 2030.
- Students from all disciplines are welcome, whether you’re technical, creative, or business-focused.
- You must be returning to undergraduate studies in Fall 2026.
- Complete a one-way interview.
- Technical Applicants: Complete a Codility assessment.
