About The Position

Under the direction and supervision of on-site staff, the Student Group Leader will assist and support after school staff with various aspects of the program. This includes cleaning, prepping, and organizing program supplies, assisting with student transitions, providing academic support in small groups, serving snacks and dinner, and assisting with field trips and program events. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 16+ years of age
• Provide a required work permit
• Provide two letters of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or other adult (non-family)
• Criminal Background Check
• Drug Screening
• TB Test & Physical
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form
• Good interpersonal and professional skills, including but not limited to-professional appearance, tact, punctuality and dependability
• Ability to travel to various sites
• Valid identification and reliable transportation

Responsibilities
