About The Position

The Texas Tribune is accepting applications for its paid 2027 spring and summer fellowships. They are seeking creative, highly motivated students or recent graduates to join Texas’ premier digital news organization. The Tribune is a nonprofit newsroom that provides robust, nonpartisan coverage of Texas politics and public policy in a variety of formats, including social videos, enterprise articles, searchable databases, and editorial events. The fellowships are designed for college students eager to apply classroom lessons, launch their careers, and contribute to a more engaged, informed, and civically aware Texas. Fellowships are available not only in journalism roles like reporting, photojournalism, and data journalism, but also in non-journalism capacities crucial for the newsroom's mission. Spring fellowships are part-time, running from January to May, and are open to currently enrolled community college, undergraduate, or graduate students. Summer fellowships are full-time, running from June to August, and are open to currently enrolled students or recent graduates.
