About The Position
Teaching assistants work with instructors on a variety of tasks critical to students’ educational experience. Depending on the nature of particular courses, TAs provide tutoring or other direct assistance to students enrolled in the class and they also assist instructors with administrative tasks associated with course implementation. Ithaca College’s student employment program offers meaningful experiential learning opportunities that develop transferable skills sought by employers across various industries. Requirements
- Must be a student
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to provide original, unexpired, authorized personal identification documents for I-9 completion

Responsibilities
- Assist in purchasing and organizing materials for lab sessions
- Drive for field trips in class
- Assist in purchasing and organizing lab and class materials for sessions
- Drive IC vehicles for class field trips
- Assist the professor and lead TA in coursework implementation
