About The Position

Join our team as a Student Engagement Teacher at St Benedict's Catholic School, Shaw. We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Student Engagement Teacher with tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers. This is a Full Time, Permanent position commencing Term 3, 2026. You’ll join a supportive team of committed teachers who work together in partnership with the parent community to create the best possible learning experience for every student. Your understanding of contemporary teaching practices, and your ability to adapt and support a diverse range of learners, will help every child feel included, valued, and confident. The School Engagement teacher plays a vital role in fostering positive student engagement, pastoral care and promoting social emotional development for students with a focus on early intervention, building strong relationships with students and families and implementing evidence-based practices to support all students to engage positively.
