The Student Employment Coordinator provides a full range of moderate to complex administrative and operational support services to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality student employment across Chapman University. Reporting to the Supervisor, Student Employment Program, this role plans, executes, and administers on-campus and off-campus student hiring functions, including managing peak periods with up to 2,400 hires per cycle. The Coordinator assists with hiring managers with end-to-end processes, mentors and coaches students on job readiness and onboarding, and processes high volumes of employment transactions, status changes, and data entry with accuracy and speed. The incumbent maintains graduate assistantship hiring workflows, administers PeopleAdmin user training and troubleshooting, reviews and approves timecards, and prepares detailed reports to monitor compliance and operational performance. This position requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, as well as proficiency with HR systems and reporting tools.
